Collect a payment on a credit bill
When a customer comes back to pay towards a bill they left short, take the money at the POS against that bill.

Where to find it
POS Terminal → Collect
1Open Collect Payment
On the POS terminal, press Collect.
2Find the bill
Search by invoice number, name or phone. Under Which bill?, choose the bill. Choose carefully: paying the wrong bill leaves one short and another over.
3Take the money
Enter the Amount and choose the Method. Add a Reference for a cheque or transfer. The screen shows what will still be owing. Press Take Rs ….
What happens next?
- A Payment received summary shows the bill total, paid to date and what is still owing.
